If you are wanting for a Birkin or Kelly, you won’t uncover it on the Hermès Spring 2020 runway. A little bit ironic as the selection drew inspiration from Hermès’ record as a leather and saddlery goods maker.
Especially, the ensembles bundled lots of leather (some backed by organza . . . amazing!). Items even resembled craftspersons’ aprons. Honestly, neither the fashion nor the bags had been exactly springlike, and absolutely not colourful. But, maybe, that was the point.
